The UNIOSUN Centre for Distance and e-Learning (CDeL) is expecting a resource verification team from the National Universities Commission (NUC) on Monday, 19th October 2026.

Resource verification is a key step in the NUC's approval process for programmes delivered through Open and Distance Learning (ODL). During the visit, the team will look at the human and material resources the Centre has in place for its programmes.

What the team will assess

  • Academic and support staff for the proposed programmes
  • Course materials and other instructional resources
  • ICT infrastructure and the online learning platform
  • Learner support services, from admission to graduation

The exercise reflects the Centre's commitment to quality assurance and to delivering flexible, accessible university education that meets national standards. It also supports the Centre's mission to expand access to quality higher education through flexible learning opportunities, cutting-edge technology and learner-focused support services.

Further updates will be shared on this website after the visit.
